NERD stands for Neocron's Edition of Readers Digest. It is at this time the longest running fictional story based in the Neocron Universe. The events you will read about here are for the most part entirely fictional. Others are loosely based on things that happened, but then embelished for comic or storytelling effect.

The characters described are actual Runners on Pluto server. And while most of them are far more sane than the characters described, a lot of the personality traits described are based on actual traits the runner has displayed. For those who are familiar with Neocron, this can hopefully be a humourous addition to your playing experience. For those who are not familiar with Neocron, this can hopefully get you interested in joining our virtual world.
